Regent Healthcare Announces Grand Opening of New Easton Office

Regent Healthcare, the largest, non-franchised Home Care Agency in Central Maryland, announced today that it has opened a new office in Easton, Md. to meet the growing demand for in-home healthcare on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Located at 218 North Washington St., this is Regent Healthcare’s fourth office, joining established locations in Odenton, Leonardtown, and Chestertown. The rapidly growing company announced its expansion to the Eastern Shore in September 2018 with the acquisition of Loving Touch Home Care in Chestertown. The grand opening of the Easton office further demonstrates the company’s commitment to establishing a presence in the communities it serves and creating job opportunities for residents.

Regent Healthcare hosted a grand opening celebration at its new Easton location on October 16th. Special guests at the ribbon cutting ceremony included Senator Addie Eckardt, a representative of Delegate Johnny Mautz’s office, representatives of Talbot County Economic Development, Easton Economic Development Corporation, the Talbot County Health Department, the Talbot Department of Social Services, and members of the Talbot County Council and Talbot County Chamber of Commerce. The event was also well-attended by an array of representatives from local businesses and the local healthcare community.

The office currently employs administrative staff and caregivers and has openings available for additional Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Applications are currently being accepted at applyregent.com.

“We are excited to announce the official opening of our Easton location, and are grateful this wonderful community has welcomed us with open arms,” said Felton Magee, President and CEO of Regent Healthcare. “In addition to our goal of creating more than 100 new healthcare jobs in this region, we are committed to providing the highest level of in-home care and playing a key role in minimizing hospital re-admissions.”

Founded in 2008 and accredited by The Joint Commission, Regent Healthcare provides all levels of in-home medication administration, companion, personal and skilled nursing care throughout Central Maryland, Southern Maryland, and Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
